Privacy
Wisebit has no accounts, cookies, tracking or analytics.
Your choices stay in your browser
Your browser stores two things:
- the computer build you are putting together, so you can return to it where you left off;
- your answers to the questions I ask while you choose parts.
Clearing your browser data removes them. I do not receive or see them.
The server receives what you choose to send
- Feedback, if you submit it. I receive only the text, without your name, email address or IP address.
- A saved build. This contains only your list of selected parts.
Data storage and deletion
I read feedback, make any necessary corrections, then delete it. I keep saved builds indefinitely: they contain only a parts list, which does not identify you.
If you want something deleted, email me and specify exactly what. I have no other information I can use to identify you.
No analytics or advertising networks
The site has no Google Analytics or other analytics tools, social tracking pixels, advertising networks or third-party scripts. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to request consent for.
Technical details needed to deliver a page
The site runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. To deliver a page, Cloudflare processes technical request data, including your IP address. I do not use or view those records.
Changes to data collection
If I start collecting more data, I will describe the changes here and include a date. This page currently describes everything I collect.
